Raspberry Lemonade w/ Blue Sugar Rim
Ingredients
- 4 pounds fresh raspberries (about 14 cups)
- 6 cups sugar
- 4 cups lemon juice
- Chilled tonic water or ginger ale
- Ice cubes
- Blue sanding sugar sprinkles
Directions
- Place raspberries in a food processor; cover and process until blended. Strain raspberries, reserving juice. Discard seeds. Place juice in a Dutch oven; stir in sugar and lemon juice. Heat over medium-high heat to 190°. Do not boil.
- Remove from heat; skim off foam. Carefully ladle hot mixture into five hot 1-pint jars, leaving 1/4-in. headspace. Wipe rims; screw on bands until fingertip tight.
- Place jars into canner simmering water, ensuring that they are completely covered with water. Bring to a boil; process for 10 minutes. Remove jars and cool.
- To use concentrate: Mix 1 pint concentrate with 1 pint tonic water.
- Dip rim of glass in water and then in blue sugar before pouring lemondade. Serve over ice.
Red, White and Blue Fruit Salad
Ingredients
- Fresh raspberries (washed)
- Fresh blueberries (washed)
- Fresh red delicious apples (washed and cut into cubes)
Directions
- Place all washed/cubed fruit in a bowl
- Mix well. Serve and Enjoy
Watermelon, Mozzarella & Blueberry Skewers
Ingredients
- 1 qt. blueberries (washed)
- 1 watermelon (cut/cubed)
- 1 block fresh mozzarella (cut/cubed)
- Small wooded toothpicks (or tiny American Flags)
Directions
- Once all ingredients are prepared and cubed, assemble skewers by layering one blueberry, one cube of mozzarella, one cube of watermelon.
- Assemble skewers on a platter and serve chilled.
Boozy Cherry Bombs
Ingredients
- 1 10oz. jar maraschino cherries with stems, drained
- 1/3 c. Fireball whisky
- 1/3 c. whipped cream-flavored vodka
- 1 c. white chocolate chips
- 1 3.5oz. jar blue sanding sugar sprinkles
Directions
- Place cherries in a medium bowl and pour Fireball and vodka over. Soak for 1 hour in the refrigerator. Drain cherries and pat dry with a paper towel. Reserve alcohol for another use.
- Place chocolate chips in a microwave safe bowl and heat in 20-second intervals, stirring in between, until fully melted.
- Dip each cherry two-thirds of the way into melted chocolate, twisting slightly to help chocolate stick. Dip cherry in blue sanding sugar, coating halfway up the white chocolate coating.
- Chill in fridge for at least 20 minutes.
Patriotic Flag Taco Dip
Ingredients
- 1 (15-oz) can refried beans
- 1 (4-oz) can diced green chiles, undrained
- 1 (16-oz) container fresh guacamole
- 1 (16-oz) container sour cream
- 1 (1-oz) package of taco seasoning
- 1 (15-oz) can corn, drained
- 1 (8-oz) package finely shredded Mexican cheese blend
- 1 bunch green onions
- 1 (pint) grape tomatoes
- 1 (2.2-oz) can sliced olives, drained
Directions

In a small bowl, combine refried beans and diced green chiles. Spread in bottom of a 9×13-inch pan.

Gently spread fresh guacamole on top of refried beans.

In a small bowl, mix together sour cream and taco seasoning. Spread over guacamole.

Sprinkle drained corn kernels over sour cream.

Spread shredded cheese over corn.

Chop green onions and arrange in a rectangle in the top left corner of the pan.

Top green onions with olive slices.

Chop the tomatoes and arrange in rows on over the cheese to form the stripes of the flag.
