Memorial Day Weekend at Manassas National Battlefield Park ๐บ๐ธ
Join the staff as we commemorate Memorial Day and remember those who lost their lives in the American Civil War. Throughout the weekend, there will be a series of special tours, talks, living history demonstrations, children's activities, and other programs. One of the highlights will be a concert by the 8th Green Machine Regiment Band from George Mason University on Monday at noon on our side patio, and a special program at 2 p.m. at the Patriot's Monument.

Founded in 1944 by William (Bill) Wood, the Memorial Day Ceremony and Parade is a long-standing tradition in the City of Rockville. ๐บ๐ธ The day starts with a ceremony remembering those who gave the ultimate sacrifice for our freedoms and concludes with the annual parade. ๐๏ธ The parade features more than 50 units, including military and community groups, marching units, dance troupes, and more. ๐ถโ๏ธ๐
