A little bit about me...

John Martinich has helped more than 200 families buy and sell homes across the DMV. He's an Associate Broker in Virginia, licensed in Maryland and DC, and serves clients throughout the DMV. As Co-Owner and COO of Level Up Homes, he's built a team known for treating real estate as personal, not transactional - with sharp market strategy underneath the warmth.

He took the long way into the business - through a concert hall. A classically trained musician with bachelor's and master's degrees in music (percussion) performance, John spent over a decade on active duty with the United States Navy Band in Washington, DC - a presidential support unit—performing everywhere from national concert stages to full-honors funerals at Arlington National Cemetery. It's a background that taught him two things that define how he works today: preparation is everything, and the biggest moments deserve someone who doesn't miss.

Military and veteran families are John's specialty, and it's not a marketing angle - it comes from his own service and years of helping shipmates and their families land in the DMV. He understands PCS timelines, how VA loans really work, and why relocating to an unfamiliar region on a deadline is stressful. A career spent performing and living throughout the DC area gave him a musician's ear for the region's neighborhoods: which ones are in tune with your commute, your budget, and your life.

Whether you're a first-time buyer, a seller positioning your home in a competitive market, or a military family staring down orders to the DMV, John's approach is the same one he learned on stage - practice relentlessly, show up prepared, and deliver when it counts.
